5

1. No authorization shall be required for the constitution of any political party.
2. Parties acquire legal personality upon registration in the register of the Supreme Court of Justice.
3. The registration of a party must be petitioned by not less than five thousand citizens, over the age of 18, with no regard to gender, race or colour, who are resident on the mainland or adjacent islands and in full possession of their political and civil rights.
4. The petition of registration, addressed to the president of the Supreme Court of Justice, must be accompanied by a document proving the citizens' registration in the electoral census, and also by a list of the petitioners, and the party's charter, name, acronym and symbol.
5. The signatures on the petition, which will be made on an ordinary piece of paper with twenty-five lines and no seal, will be recognized, free of charge, by a public notary.
