Part Section One - General Provisions
Title Article 4 - Name

(1) The name of a party must be clearly distinguishable from that of any other existing party; this is also applicable to acronyms. In election campaigns and election procedure, only the registered name or acronym may be used; supplementary designations may be omitted.
(2) Local organizations bear the name of the party plus the designation of their organizational status. This supplementary designation to the names of a local organization is only permissible if it is placed after the name of the party. The supplementary designation may be omitted in general publicity and election campaigns.
(3) Local organizations which withdraw from a party lose the right to continue using that party's name. A newly chosen name may not merely consist of a simple addendum to the previous name. The same applies to acronyms.
