(1) The party is entitled to state budget subsidy according to the provisions of this Act.
(2) 25 % of the amount that may be used for supporting the parties from the state budget has to be divided between the parties that are represented in the Parliament - in equal proportions. The amount that corresponds to the remaining 75 % is due to the parties according to the proportions of the votes cast in the first valid round of voting to the parties and the candidates of the parties based on the result of the Parliamentary elections. Parties that do not get 1 % of the votes of the voters participating in the vote are not entitled to budget support.
(3) The budget subsidy mentioned in the second sentence of Paragraph (2) cannot exceed 50 % of the revenues of the party. The party is obliged to repay the surplus budget subsidy if on the occasion of preparing its annual balance sheet it establishes that it has drawn a subsidy that exceeds 50 % in the given budget year.
(4) From the aspect of the division of the budget subsidy the result of the election has to be taken into consideration for the first time from the first day of the quarter that follows the establishment of the validity of the representation mandate.
(5) The amount that is to be used for subsidising the parties is determined by the Act on the state budget. The payment of the budget subsidies is done quarterly ex post.
