1. The amount of the subsidy shall not exceed the following sums:
a. a basic sum of f 75,000, - and a sum of f 24,000, - per seat held by the political party; and
b. in the event that, on the reference date, the political party has designated a political-scientific institute, a basic sum of f 160,000, - and a sum of f 12,000, - per seat held by the political party; and
c. in the event that, on the reference date, the political party has designated a youth organization, a sum per seat held by the political party and a sum per member of the political youth organization calculated in accordance with section two.
2. The sum per seat, as specified in section one (c), is calculated, using the situation as on 1 January as a base, by dividing f 725,000, - by the number of seats held by all the political parties having designated a political youth organization. The sum per member of the political youth organization is calculated by dividing f 725,000, - by the number of members of all the designated political youth organizations as on 1 January.
3. In order to calculate the number of seats of a political party and the number of members of a political youth organization, as specified in section one, the reference date is to be used as a basis. Members of political youth organizations include members aged between 14 and 27 years of age who pay an annual contribution fee amounting to f 10, - or more.
4. Our Minister shall adjust the sums stated in sections one and two annually on 1 January according to the wage and price adjustments applied in the general state budget.
