Chapter Paragraph 3. Procedures
Article

11

1. The political party shall contract an auditor to examine the financial report, as provided for in article 393, section one, of Book 2 of the Dutch Civil Code.
2. The auditor shall examine whether the financial report complies with the requirements stated by or under the law and whether the activity report, insofar as said report may be evaluated, is compatible with the financial report. The auditor shall likewise investigate compliance with the obligations associated with the subsidy and the accuracy of the stated numbers of members of the political party and, if applicable, of the designated political youth organization insofar as relevant for determining the subsidy.
3. By ministerial decree rules may be established as regards the scope and detail of the examination.
4. The auditor shall transmit the result of his examination in a written statement regarding the conformity of the financial report and compliance with the obligations associated with the subsidy. The application for the determination of the subsidy is to be accompanied by this statement.
5. The political party shall ensure that the auditor cooperates in the examinations established by the auditor or audit division designated for that purpose by the Ministry for Home Affairs regarding the activities carried out by the auditor.
