Chapter CHAPTER II The limitation and control of election expenses for parliamentary and provincial elections

§ 1. In the forty-day period preceding the date of elections, political parties and candidates and third parties who wish to undertake election propaganda for political parties or candidates:
1. may use no more than five hundred ¬advertising billboards or posters having a surface area of 20 m2 or more;
2. may not distribute gifts or gadgets.
§ 2. During the same period, the discounted postal rate ¬for printed election matter may be granted for a maximum of two mailings for a political party's campaign propaganda and for a maximum of one mailing¬ for each selected candidate.
The distribution of election leaflets is subject to the same limitation.
§ 3. During this same period, the King shall, by decree deliberated in the Council of Ministers, establish the general rules governing the affixation of election posters and the organisation¬ of motor caravans.
