Chapter TITLE III PROVISIONS RELATING TO POLITICAL PARTIES AND GROUPS AND THEIR FINANCING

The grants provided for in the preceding article shall be allocated to political parties and groups proportionally¬ in accordance with the number of Members of Parliament who have declared to the office of their assembly in the month following the opening of the first ordinary session of each year as enrolled or linked thereto.
Each Member of Parliament may specify only one political party or group for the purposes of the preceding paragraph ¬.
The Office of the Assemblée nationale (National Assembly) and the Office of the Senate shall notify the Prime Minister as to the parliamentary allocation among political parties and groups, as results from the declarations of the members of parliament, doing so no later than 31 December of the year in question.
The grants allocated to each party or group¬ are to be detailed in a report submitted in annex to the annual draft budget law.
In the event that the National Assembly has been dissolved and has not yet met, the period referred to in paragraph 1 of the present article is to be considered as from the second Thursday following its election.
