Chapter REGIONAL GRANTS

Lists of candidate which wish to receive grants under Section 3 must submit an application for this to the county council, which will decide whether the conditions for awarding grants have been met.
Subsection 2. For lists of candidates drawn up for a party which, in accordance with the Local and Regional Government Elections Act, has used the same letter designation throughout the country, the application must be submitted by and grants paid to the relevant party organisation.
Subsection 3. For lists of candidates other than those referred to in Subsection 2, the application must be submitted by and grants paid to the supporter to whom the election committee can direct enquiries concerning the list of candidates (see Section 12a, Subsection 4 of the Local and Regional Government Elections Act). If that supporter is no longer a constituent of the county or has withdrawn from political work for the list of candidates, another constituent of the county may step in as applicant for or recipient of grants, provided the person concerned is entitled to act as the representative of the list of candidates.
