This Act shall enter into force on 1 January 1987.
Subsection 2. Applications for grants under Section 2 for 1987 and until the end of the year in which the next general election is held must be submitted before 1 April 1987. Grants for 1987 shall be paid before 1 June 1987.
Subsection 3. Applications for grants under Sections 3 and 4 for 1987-89 must be submitted before 1 April 1987. Grants for 1987 shall be paid before 1 June 1987.
Subsection 4. Appointments and nominations to the party funding board may on the first occasion be made for a period of less than four years.
