23

1.Candidates, in the case of presidential elections, or the first proponents of groups of citizen voters obtaining revenues for the election campaign in ways which do not comply with the provisions of the present law or obtaining revenues in breach of the limits specified in article 18 shall be punished with a fine the minimum amount of which is 6 national minimum monthly salaries and the maximum amount of which is 60 national minimum monthly salaries.
2.Political parties which commit any of the offenses foreseen under paragraph 1 shall be punished with a fine the minimum amount of which is 10 national minimum monthly salaries and the maximum amount of which is 100 national minimum monthly salaries.
3.Announcement of the application of a fine pursuant to the preceding paragraphs shall be published, at the offender's expense, in a daily newspaper having larger national, regional or local circulation, as appropriate to the case.
