As a contribution for the election costs incurred for the renewal of the two Chambers, the political parties referred to in the present article are entitled to receive financial contributions equivalent to 15 thousand million Italian Lire.
Disbursement of the contributions is arranged according to the provisions of the present law and to decrees by the President of the Chamber of Deputies, and is to charged to the Chamber's internal budget.
Political parties as, under the same logo, have submitted their own list of candidates for election to the Chamber of Deputies in more than two thirds of the electoral districts and have obtained, pursuant to art. 83 of Presidential Decree no. 361 of 30 March 1957, at least one quotient in one constituency and a national electoral total of at least 300,000 valid list votes, being the equivalent of a national electoral total of at least 2% of validly cast votes, are entitled to the contribution.
Furthermore, parties and political formations as have participated, under their own logo, in the elections to the Chamber of Deputies and have obtained at least one quotient in those regions whose special statute provides for special protection of linguistic minorities shall also be entitled to the contribution.
