Contributions for the reimbursement of election expenses shall be paid to the political parties upon request of the respective political secretaries addressed to the President of the Chamber, as follows:
a) 15 per cent of the allocated sum is distributed in equal parts among all parties that are entitled to it, according to the terms of paragraph 3 of the previous article;
b) the remaining sum is distributed among the parties indicated in paragraphs three and four of art. 1, in proportion to the votes obtained in the general elections to the Chamber of Deputies.

The contributions referred to in a) shall be paid within thirty days following the final announcement of the election results by the electoral offices.
One third of the contributions referred in (b) shall be paid within thirty days following the final announcement of the results by the election offices and, the remaining two-thirds paid in annual instalments for the duration of the term of office of a legislature.
