1. The limitations established in the second section of paragraph 2 and in paragraph 3 of article 2, L. 1180/1981 (Government Gazette 138 A) with regard to the electability impediment and the irreconcilability of the status of representative of the European Parliament with member of the Greek Parliament, do not apply in the case of two parliament members per party, as acknowledged by the Parliament Regulation, provided they were elected under its title and are registered as first and second candidate as determined by the party.
2. A member of parliament also participating in the European Parliament receives parliamentary compensation for only one of such positions.
