2

(1) Upon request, each political party may receive subsidies from the state budget for financing its social activities in compliance with the provisions following herein below.
(2) The amount of the subsidies shall be calculated as follows:
a)Each political party represented in the National Council by a minimum of five MPs (a condition for the formation of a parliamentary group) receives a basic amount per annum equaling 4 million schillings;
b)The residual amount after deducting the receivables as per letter "a" of the funds pursuant to paragraph 1 is distributed between the political parties represented in the National Council pro rata to the votes cast for these at the latest elections for National Council;
c)The political parties which are not represented at the National Council but have received over 1 % of the valid votes at the elections for National Council are entitled to subsidies for their public activity during the year in which the elections are held (paragraph 1) as political parties pursuant to letter "b"; these subsidies are disbursed during the quarterly period following the elections for National Council.
