1. The suspension and dissolution of political parties may only be agreed by the competent judicial authority.
2. The dissolution of political parties may only be declared in the following cases:
a) In the event of the cases classed as illegal association in the Penal Code.
b) In the event of the organisation and activities of the party contravening the democratic principles.
3. In the processes referred to in the previous point, the competent judicial authority, on its own initiative or at the request of one of the parties, may agree the provisional suspension of the party until the sentence is passed.
