The following Acts shall be amended:
1) subsection 4 (5) of the Police Act (RT 1990, 10, 113; 1991, 10, 152; RT I 1993, 20, 355) shall be amended and worded as follows:
"(5) A police officer may not be a member of a political party and take part in activities that are in contravention of the oath of office of a police officer. A police officer shall be independent of political effects when performing functions.";
2) clause 4 (2) 2) of the Status of Judges Act (RT 1991, 38, 473; 1993, 1, 2; RT I 1993, 24, 429; 1994, 13, 234;) shall be amended and worded as follows:
"2) to be a member of a political party and take part in activities that are in contravention of the oath of office of a judge;";
3) clause 7 (3) 2) of the Prosecutor's Office Act (RT 1993, 11, 184; RT I 1994, 10, 134; 16, 290) shall be amended and worded as follows:
"2) to be a member of a political party and take part in activities that are in contravention of professional ethics of a public prosecutor;".
